Everyone's been talking about it-it's this huge, overhanging, ominous, portentous thing which will mark the end of midday lie ins, student loans and everything which embodies student life.
I was talking to a man,who worked for the BBC, in Dalston a few weeks ago and we got into a conversation about Hemmingway vs Kerouac and I told him my ambition to read the BBC news and become the next Fiona Bruce. He laughed at me, saying Mrs Bruce was possibly the "most boring" person to aspire to become. After a further conversation, he suggested that I go to America for two years and do a MA and whilst I was there, document American life. We realised that there are not too many women American writers and I decided to investigate his suggestion.
It transpires that it's not as easy as just moving to America and doing an MA there are tonne of visas and the like to fill out and the tuition fees over there are £25,000 plus. Anyway, I need to speak to my Further Studies teacher about it, he's most helpful.
Off to get the chips out the oven.
